RATO S+

The RATO S coupling from VULKAN is a highly flexible and torsionally elastic elastomer coupling which compensates for radial, axial and angular displacements of your plant, while the torque transmission is guaranteed at all times by the elastomers which are subjected to shear stress.

An optimal coordination of the torsional vibration behavior is achieved by individually selectable torsional stiffnesses and damping.

The RATO S+ coupling consists of a torsionally flexible part formed by several elastomer segments, the diaphragm part and the connecting parts. Depending on the size and the desired degree of hardness, the elements can be arranged in single or multiple rows.

The RATO S+ is even more powerful compared to the RATO S due to the new developments of the ACOTEX series.
