RATO DG
Vulkan’s RATO DG is a coupling solution for rigidly mounted diesel, gas and electric engines in offshore and marine applications and power plants. The RATO DG is designed to provide medium rotation and displacement capabilities and is also suitable for positioning drives as its design allows it to be supported vertically even when installed vertically.
Different hardness grades of the elastomer offer several options in terms of torsional vibration behavior when configured.

The element design guarantees backlash-free torque transmission. This results in a very good transmission behavior with regard to controller stability when the clutch is loaded or unloaded.

Excellent noise insulation properties by avoiding direct metal contact.
In the event of impact loads – such as short circuits etc. – the stop-free design of the flexible element provides very effective protection of the shaft line against overloads.
