GKG Cardan Coupling

The GKG cardan joint coupling from FLENDER is a flexible and double-jointed output coupling which, with full torque transmission, skilfully compensates for the displacements of the primary suspension in the bogie between the transmission and the driving wheel set shaft. The GKG coupling allows an enormous displacement of axle and transmission and also allows very large shaft misalignment values.

The GKG enables a long service life for your application by means of calibrated spherical bearings whose rubber elements are protected. The coupling parts of the GKG can be mounted independently on the gearbox and wheelset shaft. The assembly of this coupling system is possible without special tools.
