CENTAFLEX-AM

This highly elastic, homokinetic drive shaft was developed for the optimum connection of gearboxes and propeller shafts and ensures maximum comfort on board your ship.

The CENTAFLEX – AM provides backlash-free transmission of torque and propeller thrust through a highly elastic rubber element and integrated thrust bearing. This shaft coupling is particularly suitable for reducing noise and vibrations, damping torsional vibrations as well as shocks and interrupting structure-borne noise. In addition, the CENTAFLEX – AM compensates for minor axial, radial and angular misalignments and also impresses with a high degree of electrical insulation.

This product can be mounted with very little effort using the clamping hub. It is supplied in a largely assembled (ready-to-install) condition and includes an integrated anti-rotation device.

The CENTAFLEX – AM is available as standard for applications with engine outputs of up to several hundred kW.
