Since November 2019, PMP Industrie- & Antriebstechnik GmbH has been publishing interesting monthly articles on the subject of couplings in a blog, which provide you with technical knowledge about your and other drive solutions. In addition to many other interesting topics, you will also find out, for example, how you can tell that your coupling needs or should receive maintenance, when coupling components need to be replaced or how flexible and other couplings differ from each other.

Alignment check
A basic inventory coupled with a detailed examination of your powertrain should be the basis for offering you a targeted solution to your problem. Coupling preparation
For all our customers, it is not always necessary to buy a new clutch when the old one is still salvageable and when the quality and professionalism of the reconditioning is right. We at PMP offer you a reconditioning service that will turn your old clutch into a new model. After an initial assessment on site or by reviewing pictures sent to us, we can tell you if a refurbishment is feasible and worthwhile. Due to our own stock-keeping, which, based on many years of market experience, always has the most important parts for the necessary repairs in stock, we are always ready for you and your clutches. Especially the couplings of the series CENTASTART, CENTAFLEX – DS and CENTAX are to be mentioned here. For these series from CENTA we have the most important wear parts for repairs in stock and can therefore return your coupling to you as soon as possible. This gives you a time advantage, which ensures that you can meet your obligations and orders as a contractor or barge operator, for example. Before each repair we carry out, you will receive a damage report for your coupling, which is included in the repair offer. TVC / Coupling selection
A suitable and correctly configured coupling is the right piece of the puzzle for your application or machine to keep your operation running. If you have installed a coupling solution which does this only conditionally or which has to be replaced more often than it would normally be necessary, the team of PMP Industrie- & Antriebstechnik GmbH will help you. With the help of our trained technicians and our extensive network we will find the right clutch for you. For example, we can help you to reconfigure your existing clutch and adapt individual components for optimum performance, or we can help you to select a completely new clutch system. The clutch design is based on a torsional vibration calculation (TVC) after an initial assessment of your situation and circumstances. This calculation can be done with a few data of your application. The final evaluation will of course be made available to you, whether at your site, by telephone/email or at our premises, we look forward to supporting you in this matter and to developing a drive solution for you together with you.
