Shaft-hub connections play an important role in industrial applications. To ensure efficient and safe transmission of torque and power, there are a large number of variants. Flender’s clamping elements are characterized by a high power density and ensure reliable transmission of torques, axial forces and bending moments. The compact dimensioning of the components, material savings and machining options through the use of unused shafts and low surface pressures on the contact surfaces ensure a connection that is gentle on components and increases the cost-effectiveness, efficiency and safety of industrial applications by sliding one or more conical thrust rings onto a corresponding conical thrust sleeve. Sliding on the conical thrust rings creates a radial expansion that generates radial forces on the contact surfaces and thus ensures a frictional connection between the parts involved.
