This highly elastic, homokinetic drive shaft was developed for the optimum connection of gearboxes and propeller shafts. Perfectly suited for applications with large angular deviations.
The CENTAFLEX – AGM consists of a double cardanic drive shaft with two highly elastic rubber elements and convinces by a backlash-free torque transmission. The propeller thrust is transmitted to the hull via a self-aligning thrust bearing.
This shaft coupling is particularly suitable for the reduction of noise and vibrations and dampens torsional vibrations as well as shocks and interrupts structure-borne noise.
Depending on the element used, the CENTAXFLEX – AGM tolerates homokinetic angular deviations of up to 3 degrees and also convinces with a high degree of electrical insulation.
This product can be mounted with very little effort using the clamping hub. The product is supplied in a largely assembled (ready-to-install) condition and includes an integrated anti-rotation device.
