Periflex® N/TT
The Periflex®- N or TT shaft coupling from STROMAG is a highly flexible rubber-fabric coupling that is ideal for shaft-shaft connections in electric drives. It enables large misalignments in all directions with minimal restoring forces and without wear. The coupling hubs and thrust rings are made of corrosion-resistant steel. The natural rubber shaft tyre is reinforced with fabric inserts: R tyres have radially laid fabrics, while X tyres have diagonally laid fabrics that are optimised for reversing operation and shock loads. Under torque and speed, the coupling develops an axial force that must be absorbed by suitable bearings. We will be pleased to provide you with a suitable document for determining the axial forces "FA" that occur. The Periflex® - N shaft coupling therefore offers a reliable and durable solution for demanding applications.
