CENTAX-V

The highly flexible coupling with linear characteristic is perfectly suited for drive concepts with connected cardan shaft.

The CENTAX-V ensures reliable torque transmission via a highly flexible rubber element preloaded to pressure with precisely centred plain bearings. This coupling is characterized by a high torsional elasticity and skillfully dampens torsional vibrations and noise. The sophisticated design ensures uniform mileage and a long service life of the connected units. In addition, it is effectively ventilated and permits a high permissible power loss.

The CENTAX-V ballast coupling is available with SAE flywheel connections, various cardan connections and for non-standard flywheels. We recommend to extend the coupling with a flange bearing CENTA FH for cardan shafts connected with higher bending angles.
